Humanitarian Organization of Omed for People’s Empowerment (HOOPE) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political National organization committed to supporting the most vulnerable and marginalized people in Afghanistan. HOOPE is officially registered with the Ministry of Economy under License #6052.

 Since its establishment, HOOPE has worked with dedication and compassion to respond to humanitarian needs across Afghanistan. Our team comprising trained men, women, youth, and committed volunteers with more than 10 years of professional experience works directly with communities to promote peace, dignity, equality, and social justice.

 Grounded in community-driven approaches, HOOPE continues to expand its efforts to empower individuals, strengthen local resilience, and improve the well-being of families affected by conflict, displacement, poverty, and natural disasters.

HOOPE Key Achievements & Projects in Just one year:

  1. Construction of 170-Meter Life-Saving Road
    HOOPE built a 170-meter RCC road connecting communities to schools and health facilities, ensuring safe access for children, pregnant women, and emergency patients.
  2. Sports for Peace and Integrity
    Organized community sports events, including cricket tournaments, to promote teamwork, youth engagement, and peaceful coexistence.
  3. Women’s Capacity Enhancement
    Conducted training programs for women in leadership, entrepreneurship, and community development to increase their participation in social and economic activities.
  4. Support for Higher Education
    Provided full scholarships, accommodation, and stationery to 30 financially disadvantaged youth, enabling them to pursue higher education and build a brighter future.
  5. Support for Rural Schools
    Distributed free stationery and school bags to children in rural schools to promote education and ensure students have the tools to succeed.
  6. Winterization Support for Orphans
    Distributed winter kits, warm coats, shoes, socks, and scarves to orphaned girls and boys, protecting them from harsh winter conditions and improving their wellbeing.
